How it works?

The more details you provide about your ideal painting, the closer it will align with your desired aesthetic. Let’s start by discussing your brief directly - I can guide you on concepts, colours, materials, sizes, and even framing options. Your painting can be inspired by a written description, visual references like a mood board, personal photographs, or a specific colour scheme. If you’d like, you can send photos of the room where the painting will hang, and I can superimpose a mock-up to help you visualise how it will look in the space.

Once we finalise the brief, I’ll provide a detailed quote, including optional framing services. If you prefer to handle framing yourself, I’m happy to advise on suitable styles and colours.

Depending on the complexity, commissions typically take between a few weeks and a month to complete but if you have a deadline I can accommodate as best I can.

Bespoke paintings that are made for you

  • Photograph your rooms

    Take some images with your phone and send them to me, so that I can get an idea of the space, colours and textures.

  • Your wish is my command!

    This is the exciting part. Go through old photographs, pick out colour swatches, think of times that made you cry with happiness, collate all the memories and feelings and share them with me.

  • I create the magic...

    Using your brief as inspiration, I'll put together some ideas for a composition and send you a visual. Changes can be made and approved before I start painting. Once finished I can arrange a frame and delivery.

  • The Wedding Couple

    A couple wanted to immortalise their wedding day with a painting. They chose my idea of a Pre-Raphaelite style painting using auspicious symbolism throughout.

  • Russian Skyline

    After returning from a holiday to Rostov a couple wanted to capture the memory in a painting. I used 24k gold leaf throughout and had a bespoke frame made.

  • A Very Unusual Portrait

    I was asked to paint an oil portrait of an actor with his treasured ventriloquist dummy for a surprise birthday present. This was one of the most enjoyable commissions!

  • Wedding Bouquet

    Imagine the whitest of roses in a wedding bouquet that went yellow after the big event! I was asked to paint the bouquet in all its original glory for it to be celebrated for years to follow.
