How was it created?

The artwork begins with a selection of photographs I have captured on location, which I carefully compile digitally to establish the theme, composition, and colour palette. Once the concept is refined, I commence painting in acrylics, focusing initially on the intricate details. After these areas have dried, I adopt a more expressive approach, utilising palette knives and larger brushes to develop the abstract elements. Once the painting has dried, I mask off key areas and, with a wide brush loaded with oil paint, apply a decisive central stroke. This final step is a critical moment in the process, requiring precision and confidence, as any mistake could compromise the entire piece.
