How it was created:

After many hours of deliberation in creating the composition, using a mixture of hand sketches and impressive computer skills, Anna-Marie starts with a red base layer to complement the gold leaf. She then draws up the composition and applies the 24k gold leaf to her chosen areas. Once this in place she starts painting with oils. Once dry she uses a gloss varnish to protect the final piece.
