This painting began with no plan, just a blank canvas, a window seat, and a few spare hours while manning a cooperative gallery with a fellow artist. Encouraged to simply mix colours and see what happened, I let instinct lead the way. What emerged was a vibrant abstract that sat unresolved for months, until one day, I saw it with fresh eyes and painted in a bold, abstract yacht. Under Blue Skies is a reminder that creativity often takes its own course, sometimes you need to wait, watch, and trust that the painting will tell you what it needs. I love its colours, its energy, and the feeling of freedom it holds.
